"Nothing done about a complaint"

About: Spring Gardens Group Medical Practice

I had a distressing experience with a GP who refused to listen to me. I left in tears feeling suicidal. I later sent a considered email of complaint through their procedure. I received a curt response from this GP with none of the concerns I raised addressed. The practice clearly thought it was a suitable response to my complaint. Extremely disappointed with the complete lack of understanding. I have been at the practice for a number of years and I now dread having to attend. I am looking for a different practice, that considers its clients.

I am sorry your were unhappy with our dealing of your complaint. I must point out that in this case the patient was telephone triaged by a gp and booked an appointment for the same day however failed too attend without notification. The patient was also offered a meeting with the practice manager to discuss their concerns this offer is still open.
