"Amazing staff"

About: King's Mill Hospital

I had a very tragic experience and the staff was lovely. I fell pregnant and me and my partner decided we wasn’t ready and decided to terminate the abortion at home. In the end I lost 2 litres of blood and nearly died. I had to go into surgery and get blood transfusions. I was only 19 and my parents didn’t know anything until I was admitted to the ward. All of the nurses were lovely and took extra care for myself. I had many events throughout that week I was there where I was petrified of what was to come next. One specific nurse came in on her shift early to make sure I was okay as she was very concerned about me. She made me feel very safe and secure in this scary time. I wish I remembered her name so I could thank her personally. In these hard time’s for the NHS I wish each and every member well-being and thank you for all of your hard work. So much of respect goes out to each and everyone of you ❤️
