"5 star visit"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as a service user),

I was admitted to ARI for emergency surgery and spent a few days in Ward 207 post op. The care I received was excellent, the team are all outstanding and you can tell how close knit the nursing staff are,   however I have give a special mention to Anna. She has a heart of gold and the care she gave me and the others in the room was second to none. Her sense of humour and laughter really lifted my spirits. If I am ever (un)lucky enough to get admitted back to hospital I will more than happily go back to ward 207.

Thank you happychappy58! The staff in ward 207 will be delighted that their excellent caring and teamwork skills were noticed and appreciated.

The team are working really hard just now with everything that is going on around the Covid-19 outbreak and I am responding on their behalf. The Nurse in Charge has seen your story and will make sure it has been shared with everyone – especially Anna who’s humour and heart of gold lifted your spirits and helped you feel safe.

I hope you are making a good recovery.

Take care,

Kirsten
