At the end of October 2018 me and my husband noticed our 1 year olds breathing had started to change, she had a temperature and did not want to move or eat. I phoned 111 and explained what was going on, I couldn't have asked for nicer, more efficient advisor on the other end of the phone. She sent an ambulance for my daughter straight away and she was rushed to hospital. It turned out my daughter had bronchiolitis and wasn't getting enough oxygen. We stayed in hospital on an isolation ward for 1 week until she could keep her oxygen levels up by herself. I will forever be grateful to the nhs 111 health advisor who made the decision to call an ambulance. And to all the doctors and nurses who helped her during that week.
