I tried to make an appointment this morning to either see a doctor or talk to one on the phone and was told that as it was Monday I could not talk to anyone and that the first appointment would be in April. I tried to explain I had just returned from Cumbria with a diagnosis of multiple myeloma (I have the letter for one particular doctor from the Cumbrian hospital) and with difficulty got an appointment for later this week. It was a very stressful conversation. There was meant to be a letter from UCLH with an appointment date, but it has not arrived and I just want some idea of what happens next and a phone call would have been fine.
On a different issue, some weeks ago I received an email from you to take to an opthamologist to check that my blepharitis was not damaging my eyes. Someone elses medical notes were attached to the email, not mine, but fortunately there was no name.
I have been registered with you for many years and this is the first time I feel I really need some help or advice from you and it is very difficult to get.
