Entered hospital for prostate biopsy. procedure carried out by Urologist and nurse who were excellent throughout. Very concerned for my welfare, pain threshold and general wellbeing.
On completion of the biopsy procedure I was wheeled into an adjacent room to allow a rest and recovery period. I was immediately monitored for any ill effects , my BP was taken and the nurse detected a very low heart rate. This led to me being checked by a Doctor who recommended I remain in Hospital for checking and monitoring. As soon as a bed became available I was moved to the Cardiology ward C6 and made comfortable. I was wired to heart monitoring device, BP was taken regularly, blood samples, temperature etc. I was fed very well, breakfast, lunch and dinner! Very nice food!. All the staff, cleaners, food deliveries, tea and coffee makers, health workers , nurses, ward sisters, doctors and consultants were just exemplary in their care for me.
"Excellent care."
