Last week I was admitted to Ward 25 with severe abdominal pain and from the moment of admission the care, attention to every factor, and gentleness was second to none.
Every aspect of my stay from the two wonderful consultants, the beautifully efficient caring and fun nursing staff, the staff keeping the wards really clean and sterile, those looking after our nutritional needs and the cheerful and positive porters who moved me around the hospital was always of the highest standard while staying 'human' and fun.
I hadn't had the need to stay in a hospital for a number of decades but this visit has left me very proud of our NHS. Forever grateful, Mike Codd
