"REQUIRES UPDATING PROCEDURES"

I was very pleased to learn I was going to North Downs Hospital as I have been previously and treated extremely well. This time, once again treated extremely well, but would like to say on more than one occasion I was left alone for over 30 minutes, once getting out of wheelchair and twice left on the edge of the bed. Apologies given from the member of staff, stating it was because they were busy, but there should be a strict rule that patients are not left in these sort of situations for over a certain length of time. I had had surgery and found it very difficult to manouvre and this should not have happened at any time and in fact on one of the occasion where I explained to the nurse coming on duty, she said she had been told and totally unaware I had been brought back from xray, and again this is very poor.
