"The entire team was superb"

I had Dupuytrens contraction of my right ring finger for some time and was referred by my GP to see a specialist. I soon received an appointment and saw Mr Feeney at Louth Hospital who quickly arranged for an operation (Fasciectomy) which was carried out at Grantham day surgery unit.

The entire team at Grantham were superb. Post op' I was reffered to the Occupational Therapy unit at Lincoln County Hospital where I had 3 appointments with a wonderful lady called Jo, I must compliment her on her knowledge, attitude, skills in splint making and kind reassuring words. Her bedside manner is fantastic and she ensured both I and my wife were fully informed and understood what and why my treatment was required, I sincerely feel I could not have received better care had I paid privately for it.  

Whilst my condition was/is not life threatening the operation has vastly improved my quality of life enabling me to continue enjoying and improve my hobbies of Bowling, Gardening and working at a heritage railway. I have always championed the NHS and my experience has strengthened my feelings thank you all so much..
