About: Pinderfields General Hospital

After a RTC I went to A&E with neck & back pain

I was seen by a Dr who gave the best care.

The nurses were amazing too especially during the Corona Pandemic. The staff were under a lot pressure. They were professional & in good spirits. Even the HCA’s one of them who had only been on the department for 2 weeks had us laughing which took my mind off the pain & tests being done.

Dr was quick with the tests & when porters were busy & nurses had their hands full he was taking me all over for scans & x-rays. He wasn’t going to let me leave until he made sure everything was working properly. Thankfully all my tests showed up clear & I left in the evening.

Ive had a mix of care in the past at other hospitals some good some not so good.

Thank you to all the staff who took care

It is lovely to read that although the hospital is continually under a lot of pressure that the care and treatment provided to our patients, continues to be of a high standard.
