"They are stars"

About: Falkirk Community Hospital / Older peoples' services

(as a relative),

My Mum was in this Ward for over 8 months and from the very first day to her last the staff treated my Mum with respect, kindness, love and compassion. She had previously left hospital after a stay of 15 weeks unable to walk and on the second day in Ward 2 Mum had the right equipment and physiotherapy to allow her to walk again. They guided our family through some difficult decisions with patience, advice and understanding.  We were incredibly sad when Mum moved to A Nursing Home as we personally would have preferred her to stay in Ward 2 albeit we are happy with our choice.

We cannot thank Ward 2 staff enough, they are stars.

Many thanks for your kind words. Staff in unit 2 are very compassionate about the care they provide. All the Team are very touched by these kind words.
