"Rude and unprofessional "

About: Vale Community Hospital

Visited the vale with my boyfriend who had discomfort to his chest, rang the bell and was meet by a nurse who was very pleasant and friendly, triaged and then seen by another emergency nurse practitioner. She was very rude and forthcoming, had moaned that I shouldn’t be there and it’s probably nothing.

Had an ECG which showed some slight changes but nothing to worry about . The emergency nurse then said in about voice and very rude that it’s a good job you don’t need an ambulance as I would miss my tea and I’d be very annoyed. I know the service is under immense pressure but to be spoken to and made to feel I shouldn’t attend is pretty disappointing. My boyfriend was made to look an idiot.

I won’t be attending there again I will go to Stroud where they are much more patient and professional
