"Nurse "

About: Dr R Chibber's Practice

I have searched for an email but none so I will leave this here.

Wife messaged to present for vaccines.

Pregnant wife was told she will have Meningitis & MMR.

I knew it was probably a mistake which does happen and decided to follow her.

Got there- lovely receptionist.

However, when we got to the Nurse- Immediately she said you(me) out. I explained that I am the husband and was concerned with the vaccine they want to give her.

She almost did let me talk saying I should go out.

I insisted and told her she was pregnant- The nurse apparently was not aware of my wife's pregnancy.

She checked again and said oh okay she is 10 weeks.

I said no- that is wrong, she is 31 weeks.

She said okay then we will not give her that but flu jab and ''whooping'' vaccine.

Absolutely no apologies.

Very poor interpersonal relationship.

I mean, my wife was not sick, just pregnant.

We were never rude all through.

That was a near miss and poor patient and relative experience..

I know the Drs and some other staff there are fantastic.

I know the nurse could have had a bad morning, but this is human health and absolute caution should be taken.

I will try to contact the GP Partner personally on this as it is unacceptable.
