"Dreadful service"

About: St. Peters Hill Surgery

Dropped off a repeat prescription 7 days ago. Called in at adjacent pharmacy to collect and no prescription had been put through. Went into GP surgery to query and was told they had no record of said repeat prescription( not the first time this had happened!)

They would process a new request and be ready in two days for collection as no GP on site to sign it! No apology or explanation for losing original prescription request. I explained that meds were needed

And was told to speak to Pharmacist for an emergency supply. I asked if this wasn’t possible what then and was told to call 111 . Unbelievable am I really going to get through to 111 during the present climate with coronavirus they will already be inundated with calls.

The 3 staff on reception were very unhelpful and as I walked away one shouted “we have been busy” to which I replied yes I understand that but now my husband was low on medication due to their incompetence and I was going to have to do all the running around for sourcing medication for my partner who’d just had a bone marrow transplant!

Fortunately the helpful friendly competent pharmacist administered an emergency supply. No thanks to St Peters Hill Surgery.

You really need to up your game St Peters Hill. Dreadful service and no apology for your incompetence.
