"A relief!"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

Had to go to A and E about 9am on Thursday 12th March due to acute urinary retention following a prostate biopsy procedure at WGH 2 days previously. In real pain. Seen by Triage Sister within 2 minutes, had a bladder scan 5 minutes later and a catheter fitted to relieve the pressure in another 5 minutes. So glad to be prioritised and seen so quickly. All staff very friendly and efficient. Knew their jobs and did them well.
