"My hospital stay"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Gastroenterology (Ward 10)

(as the patient),

I was admitted with another flare up of my ulcerative colitis,  during the time I was in ward 10 , the nurses and auxiliary staff were all fantastic .

I was treated with respect , given and offered help 24/7 , during a time when the coronavirus was more and more prevalent these staff are in the firing line and they went about their job regardless and with a smile to top it off .

I cannot thank them enough

Many thanks for your very kind post on Care Opinion. I was delighted that the care delivered to you in ward 10 was fantastic. It is good to see that staff were going about their jobs with a smile on their face as you say during a very difficult time. This is the person centred care we aim to deliver to every patient every time.
