I attended Victoria Hospital General Surgery dept in the morning as an out-patient to have haemorrhoids banded. I was admitted on time and everything was explained to me. The whole experience from being admitted, meeting the anaesthetist and the surgeon, being anaesthetised, I knew nothing of the op, being brought round, & in the recovery unit was all very good. I was kept informed every step of the way as to what was happening and I was dealt with the utmost respect and my dignity was maintained throughout. Discharged in the afternoon.
Absolutely first class service I couldn’t have asked for more. Great work by all the staff involved.
