"Uncaring and rude"

About: Westbury Group Practice

I came for a asthma and health check on the 10th March I arrived 15 mins before my appointment I went to check in at the desk and the receptionist said"its showing you didn't turn up for your asthma check!" I said but I'm early my asthma check was being done with my health check I had a call from the nurse to arrange this. She just shrugged her shoulders and said well you have missed the asthma check I tried to speak but the receptionist wasn't having it at all she didn't offer for me to make another appointment she was just awful I felt upset as I wasn't feeling great anyway I didn't need any more rudeness. I went and had my appointment with the nurse I did say to the nurse I was getting chest pain and its been happening for a few weeks. She did my medical and was concerned with my blood pressure so she did an ECG. She said she would like me to see the GP The said she had message down stairs that I was coming and all I need to do was say "I'm the lady with the chest" this I did but the receptionist just argued and said well there is nothing here I kindly said why don't you call upstairs the nurse will confirm I need to see the GP the receptionist continued to be just so awful so cold. I said to her would you mind if I sit down please while you find out please she just ignored me and kept me just standing there. Eventually she went In the back office then came back to the desk after 10mins. And abruptly said take a seat you'll be seen next this I did feeling so awful. Another lady came out to see if I was ok but I didn't really want to talk as I felt so awful I thought I might cry.

If I didn't need to see a doctor I really wouldn't I would never just do that or waist time. I've got to come for an xray and blood test I feel awful about coming back.

I really understand the pressure you as receptionist are under but I wasn't there for the fun of it. This has happened before and I just overlooked the bad behaviour but I cant this time something needs to be done. A little empathy and politeness goes a long way.
