"Care during difficult period"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / General Medicine ( wards G North, G South, J North, J South & L South)

(as a relative),

My 85 year old dad was admitted to ward J North at IRH recently under the circumstances of a very difficult family situation.

He was in the ward for 6 days and during this time he was treated with nothing but respect, care and compassion by all staff with no exception.

J North is a very busy receiving ward and I spent many hours there during my dad's admission and both medical and non-medical staff took the time to discuss in detail the various care plans that might be put in place for him.

I hope the staff in the ward will read this message and know that our family send sincere thanks for the care you gave my dad during this difficult period.
