"My admission for orthopaedic surgery"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 26, 27, 61 & 62 )

(as the patient),

I was so impressed by the efficiency and professionalism shown to all patients who arrived at SDAU

The theatre lists ran smoothly and patients were informed where they were on the list approximating times updating them of when they would see the anaestisist etc.

I could not fault one single part of my admission journey. The staff put you at ease, listened to your concerns and opinions and discussed all options of your surgery with you.

That care continued through to  theatre and recovery then transferred to the ward where l had first class attention from the whole team.

I applaude each and everyone of the dedicated individuals who looked after me so well.

We should all be proud of the service we receive from our dedicated doctors and nurses and all other staff who make up our wonderful NHS

Many thanks from a very grateful patient
