"Really helped me to process my feelings"

First of all I just want to say what an invaluable service all of these nurses provide for people with colorectal issues. As a rectal cancer patient with a stoma I would have really struggled without them. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, caring and a credit to the hospital. 

Recently I went to pick up scan results from Helen. I knew that these results weren't good news but I was just intending to collect them. However, Helen took time out of her day to sit down and discuss them with me and go through what could happen next and to offer me and my family routes to support. Talking to someone impartial about these difficult issues was really helpful to enable me to process my feelings. Helen didn't have to do this and I really appreciated it. Thank you!
