"Great compassionate care"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Dermatology

(as a relative),

Last year when my mum was was suffering for a long time with an ulcer on her leg. The Dermatology/Tissue Viablity Team helped her to recover and I remember her saying how utterly lovely one member of staff - Heather  was and how that she hugged her when it was all cleared up.

My mum really appreciated the great care care. Unfortunately mum passed away last May but I wanted to just say thank you for helping her at a time when she was really struggling.
All too often the hospital staff hear negative feedback and I know how much Mum appreciated that hug!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us. I will ensure Heather in Tissue Viability gets this message as it's always nice to hear from our past patients.

I am sorry to hear your mum passed away but that the care she had here in Dermatology was a good experience and she felt cared for throughout her time of treatment.

We really appreciate any feed back so that we can continue to improve our services when we can.

Kind regards

Sn. Terrie Harris
