About: Pilgrim Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I was apprehensive about my visit to the Women’s Health Ward at Pilgrim Hospital for two reasons: I had never been to this particular hospital before and I was nervous about the possible gynaecological procedures awaiting me, having had bad experiences in the past elsewhere.

However, from the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming, kind and caring. The procedures were performed with respect and understanding which made a huge difference to me . Explanations were thorough and given in a professional manner.

I felt as though I had been treated as an individual. Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a positive experience.
