"Giving Birth - Planned C Section"

What an amazing service you provide here in Fife! Such a contrast to our care received with our first child down South. All staff treated us with care, importance and a smile. We were well informed throughout the process which helped put us at ease. We felt listened to and that our concerns and thoughts along the way mattered. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The facilities here are fantastic too. The ward where we waited before the planned C section was lovely and had all the facilities there. It was clean and comfortable. The medical team in the theatre were informative and helped to create a relaxed atmosphere. My wishes were respected and listened to. It was a pleasant experience from start to end (The worst bit for me was having the cannula inserted.)

Due to reasonable blood loss I was taken to a different ward for observations but this didn't phase us as everything was explained and again we received the utmost care. The staff supported me in wanting to breastfeed my baby without any feeling of pressure or judgement. 

We honestly cannot rate the service enough! If only we had been here for our first.
