I had 2 cataracts removed. The facilities are first class. The process was remarkably quick and I was kept fully informed throughout. The building looks spotlessly clean. The thought of the operations was far worse than the actual event. The day after the first opp. after I removed the eye patch I wished I could could immediately have the other eye done. No pain during the operation and only minor gritty feeling in the eye for a few days afterwards. I am amazed at the focal range of the new lenses, I thought I would not be able to read without glasses but it's fine for a short time. I will need glasses for prolonged reading but that is largely due to quite notable astigmatism. In fact I am typing this without glasses 4 days after having the second eye done. I would like to say a huge thank you to the surgeons and staff that looked after me.
