About: CGL Birmingham / East Hub

(as a service user),

I currently take part in the Art group with Diane. I have found it to be very helpful in me being able to remain absinate. I look forward every week to coming to the group and meeting the regulars and also to meeting the new members.

I also work with Michelle and Sian and Paddy in the 168 group. I have so far found the group to be helpful in giving me the tools to becoming more organised with my time. I'm very grateful to Sian for encouraging me to give the group a try. Michelle also mentioned the art group to me for which I am also very grateful. I feel positive about my future when I have people such as Diane, Michelle, Sian, Paddy and all the people I work with within the CGL Community. Thank you everybody.

Thank you for leaving feedback about your experiences of using our service.

My name is Lydia and I am one of the workers who reads and responds to people's comments about the support they receive.

It's really nice to hear that you are feeling positive about your future and that you are doing so well.

It was great to read that you look forward to our Art group and that you enjoy spending time with peers and meeting new people.

It's also nice to hear that our groups have supported you to learn new things and use new tools.

So their good work can be acknowledged, I will make sure that everyone you mentioned by name gets informed about your feedback and that their managers are made aware too.

That said, I feel it's important for us to acknowledge that your own determination, commitment and openness towards trying new things has played a crucial part in your recovery! So you should be very proud of your achievements too!
