"Fantastic hospital, excellent care and wonderful…"

First of all, after reading some of the reviews on this website, there are some patients out there that need to remember this is a HOSPITAL and NOT a hotel! ...The Meriden is bright, clean, modern and airy, and has a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are very well sized and clean with lovely en suite wet room. Relaxed visiting hours is much more convenient and visitors were made welcome by staff. My surgery was well explained, well done with no complications. The aftercare, communication and pain management I received was excellent, with my medical information obviously passed on meticulously at shift changes. Every single member of staff that I encountered was very friendly, courteous, relaxed and professional- it's obvious staff enjoy working here. The hospital has a constant 'air' of calm competence that relaxes you as soon as you walk in. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone wants your hospital stay to be as pleasant as possible. I would thoroughly recommend the BMI Meriden for any treatment.
