"This is about my husband"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Critical Care Unit (ICU/HDU)

(as other),

In Feb my husband had taken unwell which involved heavy bleeding

As he has diverticulitis and he was in the royal infirmary last year with the same problem and I am writing this story to thank everyone involved with his recovery. We were both so grateful and appreciated all the help we got and it started with the nurse which unfortunately I didn't get her name because this had happened to my husband before. So had the presence of mind to take a photo of the blood he had lost and the nurse on seeing this and her examination said she would speak to a consultant and because he had been in before it would be advisable he stayed over .

The same night he was admitted he collapsed in the toilet with a lot of bleeding was in a terrible way but for the care of the doctors and nurses who attended to him in the high dependency ward we will never be able to thank them  enough for the great job that they do .!!!! Should that have happened in the house we would not have be able to get to hospital on time so again a Great Big THANKS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED
