I have attended Newcastle Diabetes Centre in particular the podiatry department for over 6 years now, to treat a Chronic Foot Ulcer.

My Consultant, dedicated podiatrists,Casting Team at the RVI, together with the podiatry assistants, and administrative staff, never gave up, each and everyone gave there utmost in layman's terms saving my leg.

Every available Treatment/Trails, an operation to remove the ulcer, casting including bohler, was challenged, and I am delighted to say now my Chronic Foot Ulcer is at bay from going at one point a twice a week visit to now once per month, without each and everyone at the Newcastle Diabetes Centre, I know without your expertise, dedication and persistence,Today I would not be as I am Today, and I am so appreciative of this, however I do miss meeting and talking to you all on a regular basis over the past 6 years

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback regarding your ongoing care over the last 6 years at the CAV and RVI. We are pleased that the teams have been able to eventually keep your foot ulcer at bay and you no longer need to visit the departments as often. We will forward your feedback to the directorate concerned who will share with the teams involved.
