As we knew my Dad’s time was limited we spent it with him. The Nurse - Vicky - ensured we were also cared for throughout this traumatic time. She listened to us talk about our dad, she gave us blankets and tea through the night as we stayed beside him. She was so kind and gentle in her dealings with our Dad. We want to thank Vicky and all the staff in the Unit ar Crosshouse Hospital during that time. Vicky was fairly new to Nursing and yet she was truly an Angel of the Night for us. We were able to feel peace and comfort.
