"Confidentiality"

About: Victoria Hospital / Day Intervention Unit

(as the patient),

Waiting time awful, didn’t really know what was happening when someone did appear they didn’t say much. Nurses very loud, seemed more interested in chatting and giggling especially when asking personal questions.

At one point I also heard a staff member talking loudly on the phone about another patient and what their symptoms were. Not very confidential?

Dear Jan183,

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts about your patient journey on Care Opinion, however I am disappointed that we have not provided the best experience for you.

Please let me be the first to apologise for this, however we would like to learn more about your experience so we can fully understand where we failed and how we can improve upon it.

If possible, can you please phone Senior Charge Nurse, Sandra Connelly (Tel: 01592 643355 etxn 29688) or Charge Nurse, Shona Beattie (Tel: 01592 643355 extn 29916) tomorrow (Friday 28th February 2020) from 8am. If this is unsuitable, then we would appreciate if you could phone any day next week.

Again, please accept my apologies and we hope to speak to you very soon.

Kind regards
