"I was made to feel important"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

Had an appointment with the new Barrett’s nurse at crosshouse hospital, I have to say I was anxious about my diagnosis but Rosie spent a long time running through everything with me and my husband, she was full of helpful advice and tips and really made me relax about things. I was made to feel important and that my health mattered and my worries were listened to and addressed. I feel better now I have a point of contact anytime I’m concerned and feel I could ask anything and get an honest, detailed response.   Well done Crosshouse Hospital, it’s about time we had a specialist nurse for this condition as I know many people who have this and have not had the care that I’m receiving now.
