"I would like to thank all the wonderful staff"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Acute Receiving Unit (Units 1-5)

(as a relative),

My dad attended the emergency department of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow in February. He had a bloods, x-rays, CT scan and then admitted under the care of the surgical team all within the 4 hour target.

I would like to thank all the wonderful staff from reception, triage, porters, radiographers and the care of the very busy nursing and medical staff especially SCN Amanda, Consultant Dr. Roy and there excellent team. Staff Nurse Jamie is a credit to the department and made my mum and dad feel reassured that they were in safe hands.   He then had a overnight stay in ARU 5 which was immaculate and again we cannot praise the staff highly enough. SCN Danelle  and her team were excellent and a credit to the NHS.

Dear Happy Relative 1

Thank you for getting in touch regarding your Dad’s treatment at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. It can be a worrying time when a loved one is unexpectedly admitted to hospital, so I am glad that your Dad had such a positive experience.

The staff will be delighted to read your kind words and I will ensure that this is passed onto the staff.

I hope your Dad is recovering well.

Best wishes

Nicole
