"Happy with care provided"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 7)

(as a volunteer/advocate),

Ward 7. Came in via A&E, emergency care unit then admitted To ward. Referred by GP and given letter - waited a wee while before being moved to ward however during that time lots of tests and xrays were carried out. Felt that care provided was excellent. Very attentive. Seen consultants regularly and had scans performed and also biopsy. Saw doctor this morning and onward care plan being finalised. Will return to outpatient clinic. Food is also very good - happy with choices. If using call buzzer staff responded relatively quickly.

Dear UHW 30,

Many thanks for taking the time to post your experience of your care from the EC through the ECU and then onwards to ward 7.

The staff will be grateful to read your kind words on your care and I will ensure that this is passed onto them.

I hope that you are feeling better and improving.

Best wishes

Andy
