I’ve been attending the surgery for many years and I have always had great service. More recently I have been going through something traumatic that led me believe my life was not worth living. In November I attended the surgery hoping to get a pill that will fix my anxiety and depression. Instead the doctor was really determined to get me out this awful place by empowering myself. She listened gave me the tools and support needed to overcome this and she always believed in me. I didn’t feel she was just doing her job, I felt she was genuinely interested and that she cared for me and my well-being. Now I find myself in a much better place and although I still have some way to go to full recovery, I am now able to understand what happened to me and I can look after myself specially knowing that she’s still there and that she will be to the end. I also want to acknowledge the reception staff as they have always been really professional and caring when I have walked into the surgery crying or with red eyes. The healthcare assistant has also been there to listen when I have had an outburst and I really appreciate their work and support they have given me. Thank you everyone.
