About: Gala Resource Centre Hawick Community Hospital / Mental Health outpatients

(as the patient),

I have had depression and anxiety for a number of years and found mental health NHS services in various forms very helpful in the control and prevention of my depression especially.  

I was diagnosed with ASD and OCPD and it was suggested that the Gala resource centre may be able to help. I initially felt ill equipped to deal with various social situations, had low self-esteem and was generally quite an angry person.
