My 11 year old son was admitted to Watford General for emergency surgery to remove his appendix. We arrived to Children’s A& E at around 7: 30pm and he was in theatre by 11pm. Everyone we met from administrators through to the surgeons treated us with compassion, respect and kindness. They were all fantastic with my son, explaining everything as they went. I was allowed to stay with him on Starfish ward and I cannot fault any aspect of the care he received. Thank you so very much.
