Our daughter has been suffering with a small hole in her ear drum for the last six months or so. With numerous ear infections we have been seen by the Ear, Nose and Throat department at Peterborough Hospital with regular check ups and drops we have a cleared up infection even if a small hole still remaining.
Over the period of a month or so we were seen by the same nurse, and a range of doctors of all who took amazing care of our daughter.
This finalised in having an ear mould made so our daughter could go back swimming, which she had missed for the last six weeks. When asked what colour she would like the ear mould to be, it was quite simple...Gold and Sparkly. 'No problem' was the response. Today the mould arrive and our daughter was so happy it-was-Gold-and-Sparkly! I would like to say a big thank you to all the nurses, doctors and audiology department. This truly was a gold and sparkly experience.
"Gold and Sparkly!"
