About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Vascular Surgery (Ward 8)

(as a service user),

Presented for Day Surgery for vascular procedure. I was taken to Admission quickly and paperwork done again quickly and efficiently. Staff were friendly and professional and I was put at ease. I saw both doctors involved in procedure and had the process explained to me. All well and no concerns so far. Again in theatre all very professional and concerned with my welfare. I had local anaesthetic which at times was difficult but they stopped and administered more which was good. After procedure in recovery again I was given very helpful information and encouragement. All in all I have nothing negative to say about the care I have received.
