"Care received after fall"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

Recently I slipped and fell outside my home in Clydebank and hurt my head and leg on the concrete path. My family took me to the A+E in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where. I was treated very quickly at the minor injuries unit. This is in a temporary Portacabin where the staff were excellent and gave me a thorough examination in both my head and leg which were really sore after my fall. I was told that this is a temporary unit and would like to request that it is made permanent.

Dear Mags1045

I am sorry to hear that you recently had a fall. However glad to note that your experience at the Minor Injury Unit was a positive experience. I shall pass over your very kind comments to my colleagues at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital who I am sure will be delighted.

I hope that you are recovering well.

Sheila
