About: Slaidburn Health Centre

In late January I had a small but not insignifcant mishap whilst at work. I needed my wound assessing and dealing with and the advice given by the doctor was correct which meant a trip to the hospital.

The wound to my thumb was treated and stitched up at Preston Royal Hospital and they referred me back to Slaidburn Surgery. The nursing staff were brilliant in their approach to dealing with my damaged thumb and professional at all times and put my mind at ease as a result.

The doctor maintained interest in the condition of my wound and throughout the visits for redressing the wound and removal of stitches the doctor was excellent at specifying the right care policy for my recovery.

All the staff I have dealt with at Slaidburn (from reception to the doctor) had my best interests and well-being in mind and as such I thank them all. Slaidburn Surgery is an asset to the area and one which set a very high standard indeed!
