About: Sheffield treatment and recovery team / substance misuse / Alcohol service

(as a service user),

tried Sydney st sheffield health and social care two times 1st time I left alcohol for 4 days lapsed so a great lady called Mandy then I phoned again got a appointment with Mandy

I asked to go on tablets Acamprosate  which I did in November after seeing a doctor started my tablets in November 2019 also so a lady called julie at sydney street they were both ready to chat to both Mandy and Julie

it's now  February I've been free from alcohol  for 3 months I cant thank Mandy and Julie enough I didn't class them as staff I classed them as friends as there both easy to talk to had a few laughs along the way

I'm discharged now from sydney st sheffield a big thank you to Mandy Julie and the receptionist staff what a great place to go. I was actually sad to be discharged from this place but there was no more they could do as they made me a Successful  patient

keep up the great work I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to stop drinking. If I can do it anyone can drink my time stopping drinking I had my fair share of problems but it never made me go back to drinking it made me stronger to keeping drink free love to Mandy and Julie from The joker  xxx
