"My son visit to the dental service"

About: Royal Hospital for Sick Children (Yorkhill) / Dental

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had to go visit the dental hospital to have some teeth extracted. All the staff that we spoke to and that were dealing with my son were very pleasant and helpful. While we were there we spoke to a few nurses as well as the dentist that was going to be performing the procedure. They were very informative and answered any queries that I had. There was a play room that my son could use, tablets and even movies to watch while we waited and this helped my son keep occupied before the surgery as he was extremely anxious. They offered juice and an ice-lolly to my son after his procedure too. Very pleasant experience due to the friendly and helpful staff.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. It can be a frightening experience for some to come to the dentist and I am very pleased that your son was able to make the most of the facilities and so help reduce his anxiety while he was waiting.

I will pass on your kind comments to our team.
