About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Day Medicine

(as a service user),

I have recently become a new patient at Forth Valley hospital and I am very happy to find that they have a Specialist Nurse and separate Clinic for this treatment , Cath the nurse has taken on this clinic for Haemochromatosis patients , she attends to our venesection our Stats and records, any other issues we may have and relays this to the consultant. I also have secondary Osteoarthritis as a result of having Haemochromatosis and I feel now that my needs are going to be cared for during my visit to the Venesection day medicine Clinic where someone can listen and seek advice . I'm sure this monitoring is also benficial to the NHS as well as Haemochromatosis patients .
