I had a series of tests for seizure like symptoms, mainly inconclusive.I was booked for an MRI scan at Heatherwood
I then had an MRI scan on a Saturday, This showed something was wrong. I was advised by the staff to go to A&E, I did this, and although A&E knew nothing of this, They soon found out and admitted me to Wexham Park Hospital. I was aware how serious the situation was, but the competence and consideration of all who were caring for me was first class, and I felt confident. Whilst in hospital I was tested for all sorts of things relating to my condition,It was confirmed I had a brain tumour.
The John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford performed an operation only
a month after my initial diagnosis. They were superb. I have had
further scans since the op, and all looks good. I feel very well.
The level of care by all in my treatment was truly excellent.
Obviously the surgical team who performed the operation will
always be on top of the list of my thanks, but everyone of the
NHS played a great part in this, and I would like to thank them all.
"Superb, fast and caring staff, and treatment."
