I had an appointment to remove my right big toenail. My appointment was for 09:30. I was called forward promptly. I was informed that staff nurse David (Ambulatory care) was going to carry out the procedure. David, having completed the necessary details then started on the removal. At every occasion, he told me what he was doing and why. I found this helpful and interesting. David was an excellent skilled practitioner who completed the procedure without any pain to me. I had the same done to my left toe about four years ago and this was superior in every way to that procedure. I believe only one word can cover the morning - brilliant!!! I left the Ambulatory care, with David escorting me to the main entrance shortly after arriving a very happy and contented patient.
The nurse in attendance was Jennifer who again was very helpful and reassuring (not that I needed reassurance). Jennifer went above and beyond in making me feel welcome and a person not just another piece of meat. My sincere thanks to both David & Jennifer.
"very happy and contented patient"
