"outcome has been favourable"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

since I arrived in Hospital, I have been scanned and the outcome has been very favorable. I saw the consultant DR Ghosh and I have Intimated that I may have to have a small operation on my neck. Doctors and nurses in ward 3E have been very attentive and  I thank them very much for their attention.

Dear performancers67,

Thank you for taking the time to post on care opinion. It is so nice to hear that you found staff to be attentive and able to support you. I can imagine this must have been a worrying time for you.

As well as managing your stroke symptoms to aid recovery it is essential we identify the cause of your stroke. One of the reasons can be stenosis to your carotid artery. We link closely with the vascular surgeons if this is identified. I hope if you require surgery that you have a good recovery and home soon.

The team will be delighted to read your feedback.

Best Wishes,

Christine
