"we felt reassured and well supported"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

First visit to Queen Elizabeth Minor Injuries unit today.  Son sustained an injury during a sports competition.  We checked into A&E, very promptly and kindly dealt with. ( so busy, with many ambulances at door ) .Advised was suitable for minor injuries which is next to unit in a new Porto Cabin. We were seen within 10 mins.  My Son received excellent, appropriate care.  All staff were friendly, knowledgeable and so kind to us.  The unit was immaculate.   The nurse in charge gave great advice for ongoing treatment. We felt reassured and well supported.  This is an excellent service and should become a permanent fixture.  Thank you very much.

It is lovely to read your thoughts about the staff, care and facilities. I have forwarded your story to the MIU Team and I am sure will be delighted with your feedback

I hope your son is recovering well.
