"Rushed and unreceptive"

About: Purley War Memorial Hospital

Considering I was sent a text message the day before the appointment advising me that if I did not turn up, it would cost the NHS £100, all I can say is the 5 mins that I had with a Dermatologist were certainly not worthy of £100. I was spouted text book blurb, couldn't get a word in edgeways, and the whole reason my GP referred me was not taken into account. I was provided with a small piece of notepaper with the two names of my conditions and told to go off and do my own research. Told to book in for a follow up in 3 months time. Went to the reception desk to be told their rota does not extend to 3 months. Dermatologist did not introduce herself, therefore have no contact details and now have no follow up appt in place, although quite frankly if I'm doing my own research and if denied the treatment GP referred me for, is it worth going back?! Shocking treatment.
