"Physiotherapy Advent calendar"

About: Ayrshire & Arran Community Services / Physiotherapy

(as other),

To whom it is concerned

I am unsure what department this will sit but please pass on my praise to the staff who created the exercise advent calender posted on the "msk" social media page during december.

The daily videos forced me to exercise during a period of the year that I would normally be lazy. This has improved my motivation and I am still exercising 3 times per week since then. I have lost weight and feel stronger. Hopefully you will recognise your staff with an award for such a fun and inventive way for people to exercise.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Margreer1666,

Thanks you for the lovely compliment. This advent calendar was created by the MSK Physiotherapy staff of NHS Ayrshire & Arran. The aim, as always, was to encourage people to be more active and have fun doing the exercises. Your comments have been passed on to the relevant staff who are delighted. Thank you for taking the time to let us know.

Christine

MSK Manager
